Following the pandemic National Education Policy 2020 came with a multidisciplinary shift and refining the education India education system for 21st century students. NEP 2020 puts out a number of intriguing ideas. The vision of NEP 2020 is to make sure that every student

● Inculcation of mother tongue or local language through the medium of instruction upto 5th standard students and promoting multilingual education in schools.
● Eliminating children focus from rote learning to concept learning.

● Instead of emphasizing summative evaluations, which support the current "coaching culture," prioritize frequent formative assessments for learning.

● Fair and inclusive education and special emphasis given on socially and economically disadvantaged groups.
● The National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCFSE) encourages teachers and educational organizations to be more imaginative and involved. Provide age- and context-appropriate teaching methods, like inquiry, play, and activity based learning. Encourage the logical thinking, independence, health, and well-being of your kids.Gain the capacity to actively engage in public processes.
● The New Education Technology Forum (NETF) aims to improve digital teaching methods by offering innovative and creative ideas. Additionally, there will be a technological integration that could improve a number of instructional processes.

With the so many advantages of NEP 2020 like flexible learning opportunities, making schooling more accessible, digital education , exposure to ancient culture and fostering life skills like creativity, critical thinking in students there are certain drawbacks with the implementation of NEP 2020 are as follows: it may widen the gap between the english and non english speaking children and Indian society , technical barrier for rural area students and most important without a clear strategy in place, the policy's anticipated benefits might not actualize.
