This initiative, by the New Zealand High Commission in New Delhi, provides over NZ$200,000 in scholarships for Indian students who wish to pursue higher education in science and technology in New Zealand.
A Golden Opportunity for Indian Students: Beginning in 2025, Indian students enrolled in their first year of a full-time science and technology program at one of New Zealand's esteemed institutions will have the opportunity to be part of this scholarship program. Te Pūkenga is offering more than 20 scholarships, each worth NZ$10,000, to help and improve the financial burden of tuition fees for eligible students.

Eligibility Criteria: Below is the checklist required to avail the Scholarships
- You must be at least 18 years old at the time of application.
- You should hold Indian citizenship and not be a citizen or permanent resident of New Zealand or Australia.
- You need to reside in India when applying.
- Fulfilling the eligibility requirements, you must be accepted into a full-time science and technology program and remain enrolled throughout 2025.
- You should have an unconditional offer from a participating Te Pūkenga Business Division for your chosen eligible program starting in 2025.
- You must meet New Zealand’s Immigration requirements for a student visa.
There is no separate application form for the scholarship. Instead, Te Pūkenga Business Divisions will choose the scholarship recipients from eligible students who submit their study applications before the deadline.
